Actor in a dream
An actor in a dream is read as the role you play in front of others and the wish to be seen for who you really are.
In newer dream books the actor stands for the face we show the world. A dream about one is read as a question of how much you are yourself in some company and how much you try to meet other people's expectations. Applause is considered a sign of recognition, and forgotten lines only stage fright before something new, which soon passes. If you met a well-known actor, an interesting encounter is believed to await you. The dream encourages you to take off the mask wherever you feel at ease.
The most common dreams
Dreaming of being an actor on stage
By tradition, stepping onto a stage means you will show yourself in front of a number of people. It is believed the jitters will pass once you say the first line.
Dreaming of a famous actor
Meeting a celebrated face is read as a wish for excitement and new acquaintances. It is said that an invitation to cheerful company is on its way.
Dreaming of an actor forgetting his lines
Forgotten words mean only stage fright and too strong a wish for everything to be perfect. People would say we speak best when we speak from the heart.
Dreaming that an audience applauds you
Applause is considered a herald of praise for work you put your soul into. By folk belief, your effort will not go unnoticed this time either.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
