Airport in a dream
Folk tradition reads an airport in a dream as big plans, distant roads and a wish to soar toward something new.
Folk belief about the airport is quite new, and it says such a dream speaks of plans that call for courage and breadth. It is read as standing before a step that takes you farther than before, whether on a trip or into a new job or school. The bustle of an airport means many possibilities, and a calm waiting lounge means everything is ready. The dream is believed to stir a wish to travel and to say your plans are on a good runway.
The most common dreams
Dreaming of waiting for a flight at the airport
You are getting ready for a big step: that is how this dream is read. People say everything you need is already packed and all that remains is to set off.
Dreaming of meeting someone at the airport
By tradition someone dear is returning to you, or news is arriving from afar. The dream announces a hug, plenty of stories and a gift or two from the suitcase.
Dreaming of watching planes take off
Newer interpretations say you are daydreaming about faraway places. The dream is believed to nudge you to turn one of those wishes into a plan.
Dreaming of looking for your gate at the airport
They say that among many possibilities you are looking for the right one. Take it slowly, for the signposts are believed to be clearer than they seem.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
