Blackberries in a dream
Folk tradition reads blackberries in a dream as a sweet reward reached carefully, step by step and without hurry.
In folk belief blackberries in a dream speak of something valuable that does not give itself up at first glance. Old dream books recall that they grow among thorns, so they read the dream as patience and the skill of reaching the sweet fruit. Ripe, dark blackberries are read as contentment and a wish fulfilled, a walk past the brambles as a memory of summer paths and the countryside. People say the trouble taken over blackberries is always smaller than the sweetness that follows.
