Computer in a dream
In newer readings, a computer in a dream stands for work, learning and ties with people who are far away.
There is no computer in the old dream books, so people today read it by what it is used for: work, learning and keeping in touch. A dream about a computer is believed to show how busy your thoughts are with duties and messages waiting for an answer. If everything ran smoothly, it is read that work is taking its course. If the screen froze, the message is gentle: both you and the machine need a pause now and then, and you will both work better for it.
The most common dreams
Dreaming that you are typing on a computer
In the newer folk reading, typing on a keyboard means you have something to say and someone will hear you out. Perhaps it is time to send the message you keep putting off.
Dreaming of a broken computer
A computer that will not switch on is read as a sign that your duties have worn you out. A short rest is believed to bring the solution you could not see at your desk.
Dreaming of a brand-new computer
A new machine on the desk is read as a fresh chance to learn or to work. People say that whoever is curious always finds a way to new knowledge.
Dreaming of playing a computer game
Playing in a dream is a sign that you are missing a bit of carefree fun. It is read that someone will soon invite you out for good company and a good laugh.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
