Movie theater in a dream
A movie theater in a dream is read as a wish for a story and a break, and as a look at your own life from the side.
Folk belief about the movie theater is fairly recent, and it says such a dream speaks of imagination and a need to be just a viewer for a moment. The old folk would say your wishes and memories are what you see on the screen. A cheerful story on the screen is read as carefree days, a tense one only as excitement about something new. The dream is believed to remind you that in your own film you play the lead, and the part suits you well.
The most common dreams
Dreaming of watching a film at the movies
It is read as a need to pause and take in the bigger picture. People say the view is often best from the back row.
Dreaming of an empty movie theater
By tradition it does you good to be alone with your thoughts for a while. The dream announces a quiet evening just for you and the things you love.
Dreaming of seeing yourself on the big screen
Newer interpretations say you want others to see you as you really are. It is believed a chance to show what you know will soon come your way.
Dreaming of being late for a film
You worry that something might slip past you, while in fact you are arriving on time. The dream calms you and says the most important things are not missed.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
