New job in a dream
Old dream books read a new job in a dream as an opportunity, a change of habits and trust in your own strengths.
In folk belief, a dream about a new job need not be about a workplace: it is read as any new role you are taking on. It is believed to come when you feel you can do more and need a fresh challenge. If you were well received in the dream, dream books read it as a sign that those around you will back you. If you felt lost on the first day, do not worry; every beginning is like that, and by the second morning you start finding your way.
The most common dreams

By folk belief, a first day at work means you are entering a period of learning and new acquaintances. People say everyone gladly helps a curious beginner.
Dreaming of a job interview
An interview in a dream is read as a wish to show what you know. It is believed you will soon get a chance to present yourself in the best light.
Dreaming that you are offered a better job
An offer in a dream is a sign that someone values your effort more than you suspect. Old dream books add that first you need to believe in yourself, too.
Dreaming of new colleagues at work
Unfamiliar faces at the next desk are read as new company and fresh ideas. It is read that you will fit in quickly and win some allies.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
