Plum in a dream
Folk tradition ties plums in a dream to the home yard, plum jam and busy hands putting up winter stores together.
In folk belief the plum is the tree that guards the house, so in a dream it is read as attachment to home and homeland. Ripe blue plums are read as a fruitful autumn and work that gathers the whole family, from picking to cooking jam. Old dream books say a plum orchard in a dream means good neighbors and help that nobody counts. The dream is warm and a little wistful, and is said to come to those who like to know where home is.
