Street in a dream
By tradition, a street in a dream stands for your path through life and the direction you are heading in right now.
Folk tradition reads the street as the road you travel through life. A wide, well-lit street means you are on a good track with nobody in your way, and a narrow or winding one that you will reach your goal a little more slowly, but surely. A familiar street returns you to people and places you hold dear. If it was unfamiliar, old dream books say something new is opening up, and there is no cause for worry, since every street leads somewhere.
The most common dreams
Dreaming of a long, empty street
An empty street is read as time you have all to yourself. It is believed that in the quiet you will make a decision you have long been putting off.
Dreaming of a street full of people
Folk tradition says a crowded street announces encounters, news and an invitation to join in. One of those people might come to matter to you.
Dreaming of a dark street
Darkness here means only that you cannot yet see the whole road, not that the road is bad. Old folk say: step by step, and the light will appear on its own.
Dreaming of the street you grew up on
The old street is considered a warm dream that stirs memories. By folk belief, someone from those days will get in touch, or you will feel like finding them.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
