Passport in a dream
In the folk reading, a passport in a dream announces a trip, a change of surroundings and an open door.
In newer dream books a passport is read as permission to step into something new. It is believed to appear in the dreams of someone longing for a trip, a different job or just a little change in everyday life. A new passport means readiness, and the stamps in it the experiences you have already gathered. If you could not find it in the dream, do not worry: it is only read that there is something left to sort out before you set off, and that there is time for everything.
The most common dreams
Dreaming that you are given a new passport
By folk belief, a new passport means a possibility you have daydreamed about is opening up. People say half the road is covered once a person decides to set out.
Dreaming of searching for your passport before a trip
Searching for a passport is read as ordinary jitters before something new. It is believed that in waking life you will find everything in its place and leave on time.
Dreaming of a passport full of stamps
Many stamps are a sign of rich experience and of stories you have to tell. Old folk would say the world is always a good teacher to those who travel.
Dreaming that you show your passport at the border
Crossing a border is read as entering a new chapter of life. It is read that you will pass the check easily, because you have prepared well.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
