Stars in a dream
Stars in a dream are read as hopes and wishes; the brighter they shine, tradition says, the closer they are.
Old dream books say stars show how much you believe in your wishes. A clear sky full of stars is read as luck in what you are starting and support from the people around you. One especially bright star means you have a clear goal, and a shooting star the fulfillment of something you wished for quietly. If the stars were pale or hidden, it is said you only need a little more faith in yourself, because they are still up there.
The most common dreams
Dreaming of a shooting star
In folk belief, a wish you have told no one is on its way to coming true. The dream invites you not to forget it, and to give it a little help.
Dreaming of a sky full of stars
Read as plenty of nice opportunities and good company. It is said the coming days may give you more reasons to smile.
Dreaming of one bright star
Old dream books say you know what you want and are on the right track. The dream is also read as a sign that someone values you in a special way.
Dreaming of counting stars
It is said you are daydreaming about several things at once and it is time to pick one. Whichever you choose, people say, the stars are on your side.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
