Wall in a dream
In folk belief, a wall in a dream can be an obstacle you will get past or a protection that keeps you safe.
Dream books read a wall in two ways, depending on which side of it you are on. If it stands in your path, it means an obstacle that calls for patience and a little ingenuity; if it surrounds you, it means safety and home. A solid wall speaks of steadiness, and a cracked one of some old stubbornness slowly melting away. It is believed that no wall in a dream is there forever: there is always a door, a ladder, or someone who offers a hand.
The most common dreams
Dreaming that you are building a wall
Building is read as patiently putting a future together, brick by brick. By tradition, what you are creating now will rest on a firm foundation.
Dreaming that you are jumping over a wall
A wall cleared means an obstacle overcome and pride in your own courage. People say that the road becomes level and easy after that.
Dreaming that a wall is coming down
A wall coming down need not frighten you; old folk see it as misunderstandings between people vanishing. Room opens up for an honest conversation.
Dreaming of a high wall in front of you
The height of the wall shows how hard something seems to you, not how hard it really is. It is believed you will find a way through with someone's help.
These interpretations come from folk tradition and are meant for fun; they do not predict the future and are not advice for life decisions.
