PDF tools – everything for PDFs, nothing to install
Nineteen tools for the everyday jobs with PDF documents: merging and splitting, shrinking, signing, passwords, and converting from Word, Excel and PowerPoint and back. It is free and needs no account. Twelve of the tools run inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.
The document stays with you
Merging, splitting, rotating, signing, page numbers and images to PDF run in the browser: the file is not uploaded anywhere.
Three steps
Pick a file, set what you need and download the result. No software to install, no sign-up and no stamp across your document.
Every alphabet works
Accented letters and Cyrillic are written correctly in watermarks and page numbers and read correctly when extracting text.
Phone or computer
The tools open in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, on phones, tablets and computers.
What these tools are for
Sooner or later every document turns into a PDF: a lease, a bill, a school certificate, a scanned form, a term paper. And then something small needs doing – two scans should become one file, a blank page has to go, the attachment is too heavy for email, a page came out sideways, a Word file must be sent as a PDF, or a form needs your signature and there is no printer nearby.
Each of those jobs has its own tool here, with short instructions on the page. You do not install anything, register or pay.
Where your files are processed
Twelve tools – organizing and editing pages, and converting between PDF, images and text – work entirely in your browser with open-source libraries; the file stays on your device. Seven jobs cannot be done in a browser and run on our server: compression, password protection, unlocking, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF, and PDF to Word. In those cases the file travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, is processed and is deleted right after processing. We keep no copies and do not look at the content. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
