A document that only needs your signature
A sports club membership form, a delivery receipt, a garage rental agreement – it arrives as a PDF and is expected back signed. Instead of hunting for a printer and scanner, Sign PDF lets you put the signature right on the page.
Two ways to get a signature
The first is drawing. Sign in the signature box with a mouse, finger or stylus, in black or blue. "Clear" empties the box. A drawn signature has no background, and the empty space around it is trimmed automatically.
The second is an existing image of your signature, PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background blends in best; a JPG brings its white background along.
Placing it
One click on the document puts the signature there. Until you save, you can drag it around the page, resize it from the bottom-right corner or remove it with ✕. The same signature can go in several spots and on several pages. A counter shows how many are placed, and you need at least one to save.
What this signature is and is not
The tool writes an image of your signature into the document. Wherever the other side would accept a scanned, hand-signed page, this usually does the job. It is not a qualified electronic signature, which relies on a certificate from an authorized provider. For courts, notaries or tax offices, ask first which kind they require.
Your signature stays yours
Neither the document nor the signature leaves your browser; nothing is uploaded to SnoopyWap. The signature is not remembered – close the page and it is gone.
Afterwards you can lock the signed file with Protect PDF or make it lighter with Compress PDF. If the document is split across files, join them first with Merge PDF.
