When the pages are all there, just not where they belong
You scanned family recipes from an old notebook and the sheets got shuffled. In the minutes of a tenants' meeting, the attendance list landed in the middle instead of at the end. A thesis has one wide table lying sideways, plus a stray blank page. Organize PDF shows the document as thumbnails you can move, turn and delete, and one button saves the lot.
Three actions and two helper buttons
- Moving – drag a page to where it should be and the others shift.
- Turning – each press of ↻ turns the page 90° clockwise, and the thumbnail turns right away.
- Deleting – ✕ takes the page out of the new document. A line below always shows how many pages are left.
- "Reverse order" – the last page becomes the first. Handy when a stack was scanned back to front.
- "Reset" – reloads the document and undoes everything so far, deleted pages included.
What exactly gets saved
The new PDF holds the pages in the order shown on screen, with the orientation you gave them. Rotation is written into the document, so pages display correctly in any reader. Page content is untouched – text and images are not recompressed. The file is saved under a new name ending in "-organized" and the original stays as it was. At least one page has to remain.
Computer, phone and other tools
The turn and delete buttons work on any device; dragging is most comfortable with a mouse. Either way the work happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded. This tool handles one document at a time, so join files first with Merge PDF. If the entire document faces the wrong way, Rotate PDF turns all pages with one button, and Page numbers can number the finished file.
